Does Cursor host websites?
Cursor is an editor: the site it builds stays on your computer until something publishes it. DashPloy is that step, and Cursor’s agent can take it for you, so there is nothing to upload and no server to set up.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, on every plan. The free plan includes 1 custom domain, so a name you already own can point at your site without paying anything. Every site also gets a free address ending in .dashploy.app the moment it is published.
Is hosting a Cursor website free?
Yes. The free plan never expires and needs no card: 2 websites, 100,000 requests a month and 1 custom domain. What the assistant costs is separate: cursor has a free tier, which is enough to build and publish a small site.
What happens to my site if I stop using Cursor?
Nothing. The site is hosted here, not inside Cursor, so it stays online whichever assistant you choose next, and any assistant that can publish here can change it.
